Flossie

Flossie © Jane Caminos

Oil 30″ x 24″

The painting to your left is of sister Flossie, the baby of the family, at 15, standing in front of what has to have been asbestos shingles. Her innocence shines out at us, doesn’t it?

Each of the seven kids had problems with “drink” as adults, and I’m sad to tell you that Flossie got the worst of it. She remained a great joker, however, and told as good a story as others in the gang of seven.
